Choose long, 'skinny' yams, about 2 inches across. Wash, dry and cut in half lengthwise. Brush with sesame oil, place on a baking pan and bake at 350 degrees 15 minutes. Remove from oven, and brush liberally with your favorite Zena's SASS.
Bake an additional 15 minutes, or until a small knife slides in easily. Brush with a little more SASS, and return to oven for 2 minutes. Serve hot, room temperature or chilled. So simple, yet so very elegant.
